About

Trinh Nguyen (Nguyen Vo Hoang Trinh)
is a PhD Student in Political Science (International Relations) and a Presidential Scholar at George Mason University. Her research interests include geoeconomics, weaponized interdependence, and network analysis. Her previous work has examined Vietnam-China economic interdependence, geoeconomic risks framework, Chinese economic statecraft in Southeast Asia.
Trinh is also a Pacific Forum Young Leader, YSEALI Fellow, a St. Gallen's Leader of Tomorrow, and an ASEAN-Korea Youth Ambassador.
